Walton Garage
This busy garage workshop was in need of a new surface to provide a cleaner and safer work environment. Over time the existing floor had become stained and marked, and was in need of repair. The floor was given a new lease of life with a fresh epoxy resin floor coating, with new demarcation lines and markings.
The work was carried out over a three day period during off peak hours between Christmas and the New Year to help minimise disruption to services provided by the garage.
Resin flooring refurbishment – before
The existing floor at this site was in need of refurbishment and a new resin flooring surface. The existing paintwork on the floor was marked and stained, and much of the floor was covered with oil stains and tyre marks.
The areas around the hoists required resurfacing and re-marking.
Epoxy resin flooring – application of the top coat
Following our usual pattern of good preparation through “diamond grinding” of the floor surface, then application of our primer layer and repair of damaged areas, the final part of the process is to apply the resin flooring top coat. At this stage, we apply the various colours around the hoists and refresh the demarcation lines.
We also provide the customer with advice on floor maintenance, including which solutions to use for cleaning, and how best to keep the floor in top condition.
The end result is a new epoxy resin floor that is clean and well marked, and breathes new life in to the workshop creating a cleaner and more professional looking environment.
